  1. Beloit is much nicer than people would think it is. The community is involved and with a lot of volunteers and great local events. The downtown area is beautiful and getting even more amenities. The farmers market is fabulous. There are also a lot of community events at Beloit College and the Rotary Center. It is very underrated and a great place to live.

    1. Tell that to the boy who got JUmPED, by five gangsters at Beloit Memorial high school while o route to play basketball.

  2. Wisconsin Rapids is a retirement community. This city has a Bad mayor that is destroying Wisconsin Rapids.
The mayor is depending on the local paper mill to support this city. The local paper mill could be closed at any time.
There is no stability for jobs in Wisconsin Rapids.

  3. I found this insulting. I’ve lived around the world (literally, in different states and different countries) and STILL LOVE WISCONSIN BEST. Name a state that doesn’t have some issues, so yes we have some problematic areas, but most are working to make improvements.

  4. I want to vote for Waukesha. I’ll bet half the ppl who have been here don’t even know how to pronounce it

  5. I lived 17 years between southwest , Madison area . I loved the view , fishing and some people. My 2 complaints are , taxes and DNR… Do like the controll or the pressure of losing something that I worked for! I will miss Wisconsin…

  6. Big problem with drinking in Wisconsin. If this got cut down most communities would be very enjoyable to live in.

  7. I grew up in Kenosha….in 30s40s and 50s………loved it……..now I love to go “home” to visit.pp

  8. We moved to Delaware to be near our daughter and believe you me, I miss my Wisconsin constantly. There are bad spots in every state but overall you can’t beat the MIDWEST or WISCONSIN.
