    1. I feel the same way about Florida. The bugs, snakes, and alligators aren’t typically an issue. They typically avoid humans. Crime isn’t great but I think it’s gotten better, And California has way more gang activity. And if you’re from Florida you don’t mind the heat, which in central Florida isn’t horrific really. It’s also one of the most affordable states to live in.

      1. that’s a lie, I live in Florida and I’ve been here for 14 years. The mosquitoes are the worst, don’t even go outside after 5pm if you don’t want to be covered in bites unless you’re running, skating, biking, or anything in a fast pace lol… Orlando, in my experience is a hot place for crimes lmao. Public education here has sucked too. \(‘-‘)/ Sure, parts of Florida have great prices for real estate, but with the tourism and old people clogging the roads and not knowing how to drive, I’d say it pretty much is garbage. Gators have chased my brother, I’ve been chased by angered snakes. And the weather here is even worse, it’s the end of October with 95% humidity. Yum!

  1. Kate. California is a large state. Okland isn’t safe to drive period. Los Angeles has several gangs. I worked in South Central LA for 12 years. 2 riots and still feel safer there than many suburbs near my home in San Diego.

  2. As a student in Tennessee, I can confirm the school thing. I haven’t been to all the schools, but i’ve been to a ton of them and most of them sucked, whether or not it was academically, how they handled things like drama, bullying, etc or how the teachers treated the students.

  3. Hialeah, Fl is the worst place to live in especially if you don’t speak Spanish. In addition no jobs plus they don’t pay well either.

  4. I was born in Tennessee, but I have never been robbed or house broken into, or victim of any violent crime yet. I’m 57 yrs old. I feel in I hadn’t been here all this time I probably would have me my demise long ago. Nashville is the state where I live. I Love it here!

  5. I live in Tennessee and I can tell you education is really bad here. I live in a smaller poor town in Tennessee and it is very full of thieves and druggies. Even in some places in the town we have glass between the workers and the customers. Also weather and other forms of crime are bad here as well. It rains a lot here in my town at least. You can’t walk out around here without running into someone under the influence of drugs or alcohol. I mean the town I’m in only has a little over 10,000 people so maybe I just notice how bad it is

  6. Honestly, especially NY? It’s the pits of them all. Lived there for 12 years, glad to be living in the best state of Georgia now!😁
