But there are a bunch of other great large cities in Georgia that don't get as much love.

We're going to change that right now.

You can click here to see a full table of the full of the 100 biggest cities in Georgia, along with every other place over 1,000 people big. It is sortable by clicking on the headers.

How We Determined The Largest Cities In Georgia

We've been ranking and dissecting cities in the Peach State for over 4 years now -- making this actually the fourth time we've run the numbers. We always use the best data, the US Census. In this case, that means we are using the 2013-2017 American Community Survey.

It what is probably the most simple analysis we run each year, we ranked every place in Georgia from biggest to smallest. The biggest city this year? That would be Atlanta.

The smallest? Franklin, although there are places smaller than 1,000 people not listed here, so keep that in mind as we take a look at the top ten.

I love the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. They are awesome. I always find new flowers and interesting facts. The place is beautiful and a must see. They even have a spot for your children to play and rest.

The observatory is wonderful. Please go in and look around. You will love the flowers.

Review Of Columbus by HomeSnacks User

It is a very boring town with not much going on for families. The public schools are run by Nazis.

The riverfront is dirty. My kids and I can't walk along the river without seeing trash and homeless people.

Savannah is the oldest city in the U.S. state of Georgia and is the county seat of Chatham County. Established in 1733 on the Savannah River, the city of Savannah became the British colonial capital of the Province of Georgia and later the first state capital of Georgia. A strategic port city in the American Revolution and during the American Civil War, Savannah is today an industrial center and an important Atlantic seaport. It is Georgia's fifth-largest city and third-largest metropolitan area.

Athens is an affordable, cozy place with lots of local community involvement.

The bad things are the amount of pedestrians when school is in session, and the incidence of homelessness.

Review Of Warner Robins by HomeSnacks User

I don't get it how Warner Robins made it to the cheapest place to live because it isn't, for the crime now that a joke when the Legal Enforcement breaks most of the laws and victims of any crimes are screwed if the offender and their families have a nice checking account. Now we do have good schools especially our high school football teams. Just last year we now have public transportation. For things to do now that is another story cause there really isn't anything to do as a family.

I can't truly say I have a favorite place since I went from Savannah to Germany than Warner Robins and had more stuff stolen from having break-ins and had to deal with the law enforcement and legal authority not doing their job especially when it comes to trying to get a monster off the streets. Warner Robins, no it not cheap nor is it safe.

Review Of Albany by HomeSnacks User

Ive lived in Albany for all of my life and Ive seen my fair share of crime but Albany Ga is the heartbeat of the south. Weve been through a total of 2 Tornadoes and 1 Hurricane and when it counts the most we stick together. There is so much love in Albany everyone is friendly. The city has a pure heart of gold.

Some of the favorite places to visit that I enjoy personally is Little Red Dog House which a local favorite hot dog stand. Another place to eat that is heavily enjoyed by locals is the Albany Fish Company where they served delicious seafood.
