Using the most recent Census data, we can tell you about all the places in Wisconsin with a focus on the biggest. We update the data each year and this is our fourth time doing this.

You can click here to see a full table of the full of the 100 biggest cities in Wisconsin, along with every other place over 1,000 people big. It is sortable by clicking on the headers.

How We Determined The Largest Cities In Wisconsin

We've been ranking and dissecting cities in the Badger State for over 4 years now -- making this actually the fourth time we've run the numbers. We always use the best data, the US Census. In this case, that means we are using the 2013-2017 American Community Survey.

It what is probably the most simple analysis we run each year, we ranked every place in Wisconsin from biggest to smallest. The biggest city this year? That would be Milwaukee.

The smallest? Hazel Green, although there are places smaller than 1,000 people not listed here, so keep that in mind as we take a look at the top ten.

Review Of Milwaukee by HomeSnacks User

Milwaukee has its ups and down, good spots and bad spots; however, overall, Milwaukee is a robust city with a lot to offer, and opportunities for quality experiences throughout.

Perhaps my favorite part is either the Lakefront area with the local Colectivo coffee shop or the historic Third Ward district.

Review Of Madison by HomeSnacks User

I'm not sure how the crime is because I'm not in Madison enough to know. The schools seem to be decent which I only know because I have cousins that live there. There is lots to do in Madison so that's why I like going there from time to time. The also offer free things to do like go to the zoo which is really nice.

My favorite places to go are the disc golf courses that are around and in the Madison area. My husband and I really enjoy going disc golfing and there is multiple places to choose from which is really nice.

Review Of Green Bay by HomeSnacks User

The main attraction in this small city is Lambeau Field, home to the Green Bay Packers. Surrounding it are many fine restaurants and places to grab a beer. Visitors can shop at the Pro Shop and have fun at the Packer Hall of Fame.

The people here are very friendly, even if you're wearing gear from some other NFL team!

Review Of Racine by HomeSnacks User

Its been an okay experience. Most of the city is very scary and worn down. Very nice by the lake. The schools feel like a prison. Ive been threatened by students Ive never met. A mother walked into my high school threatening to beat up students and shoot them. Security is atrocious. When I have attempted to reported bullying the staff in my schools office refused to talk to me. Im a college bound AP student and feel like a criminal for asking to go to the bathroom. The halls smell like marijuana. Attending a public high school in Racine has destroyed my mental health. The teachers complain about central office and administrators. Teachers also have heated political debates in class. Teachers recruit students to attend political protests. Very stressful environment when the staff talks about how much they hate their jobs. I have had a bad experience with violence and crime inside and outside of the schools.

There are many things to do in Racine. Summers are amazing down by the lake. However, the schools are disgusting. Class rooms havent been properly cleaned in years and even smell like urine. That is what William Horlick High School and Washington Park High School are like. Many dangerous neighborhoods. Diversity is good and some nice neighborhoods by the lake. Most of Racine is worn down and scary.
