  1. It’s Madill with a A. This list is wrong. What about Antlers, OK where to dismiss school on opening deer season.
What about Rush Springs, Lawton, Duncan Hell I live in Lindsay and we are more redneck than most. Lol

    1. I have a feeling they are not from Oklahoma….. and that they spelled and peonounced some stuff wrong on purpose to piss people off lol if they visit they realize every inch of Oklahoma is redneck lol

      1. They sure do! And I went to school in Idabel, aka Idahell, in the 60s & 70s and our school did the same, as did most rural counties. I got an exceptional education in that school and have had some wonderful jobs because of my college education from Durant, Ok. Plenty of France’s can spell and enunciate better than the fool who compiled all this. I’d be willing to bet he could NEVER master noodling, LOL.

  2. The family cooked moonshine and grew peanuts in Antlers, and some still use outhouses in the mountains there.
As for Purcell, all us kids from Slaughterville & Lexington would cross that old bridge over the river and cruise mainstreet on a Friday night. Good cattle auction too.
