  1. Great production, but I’ve never seen the city so bright.
I didn’t see west Baltimore in the flyover, either.
Tried living downtown, but the petty crime, and larger burglary, were too much, to often. Right there in Canton, and not just me. Gun to the face robbery by the Peabody. That’s nostalgia.
It’s unfortunate, I remember some good times at memorial field, eating locally, back when there was no inner harbor like today.
It’s still a destination city, so I guess there is still appeal, even to tourists.

  2. miss Memorial Stadium.. great memories.. Lexington Market, old Bal’mer
National Bo’ ..steamed crabs, the Baltimore Colts, Bullets, Clippers, O’s… getting to work hungry because you drove by McCormick with the window down in the summer time 😉

  3. I grew up in Roland Park in the 40’s and 50’s and have wonderful memories from in and around Baltimore. Roland Park was a safe bike riding destination when I was young. The “Number 10 Water Tower” was considered a landmark by many. The city was close by with all its shopping opportunities and places to dine. I still have fond memories of those times and places including events held at the Memorial Stadium. The streets were always clean and residential areas pristine in appearance, both houses and greenery.
