In perhaps a sign of mercy from a record-breaking winter last year, Boston saw lot less snowfall this winter than it did last winter.
One year ago, things in Boston looked much different. This is a look back at the snow that fell last year from the perspective of a drone that flew throughout the city.
The first storm of the Blizzard of 2015 dumped 24.6 inches on Boston, and up to 3 feet in other parts of the state. More than 110 inches of snow fell on Boston last year, shattering records that go back to 1872.
The last of the snow, which was held at a snow farm in downtown Boston, finally melted in mid-July.
Truly unforgettable, indeed. And we can all be glad Spring is here in 2016.
