“A lot of my needs are met, but I’m still not super fulfilled.”
Many of us experience the same nagging feeling: You feel like you want to give back – and do more – but you’re not sure what exactly that ‘thing’ is. We all want to feel like we have meaning and a bigger purpose in life. This is a story of how small gestures have become a big movement in Philly.
Philadelphia resident Mason Wartman opened Rosa’s Fresh Pizza in 2013. At first, it was just your typical pizza joint.
But his customers turned Rosa’s into is a case study in selfless community involvement. Through this small pizza place, people started to do something that hadn’t happened before.
The movement here isn’t just about the restaurant. It’s about people sharing. And we can all get behind that.
