Chicago is a wonderful city. There is so much diversity and culture. The atmosphere was ablaze with an electric energy. Everyone was incredibly friendly.

There are so many good places to eat! Especially restaurants that cater to the vegetarian

Its a cool city, there's lots to do with your family and friends.

great america, sports, food, site seeing, ferris wheel, taste of chicago.

I really enjoyed the River Walk in downtown Chicago, which is also recently being expanded to the North Side of the City

We really enjoyed the Virgin Hotel, especially the second floor restaurant/bar/lounge area. Great drinks and friendly staff.

Its an interesting place to visit. I went around and saw different things. I saw The Bean. It was fun.

It was pretty bland. Other than the bean there wasn't anything that really stood out as special. I guess just knowing there was a big body of water nearby was pretty cool.

Horrible crime, horrible drivers, rude people. I do not feel safe driving down there at all due to crime and bad drivers.

Crime!! There are multiple murders a day. I cannot imagine how many car jacking there are or muggings. They also do not allow concealed carry so you can protect yourself.

Chicago is awful. I always feel like I have to watch my back or I might get robbed or shot. I hear about shootings on the news and radio on a daily basis, and it scares me. Not only is murder rampant, everything is incredibly expensive, wages are low, and education is awful.

Don't walk around at night, and always keep an eye behind you.

I love Chicago. It is one of the best cities in the world. It's diverse and vast, but still has a nice Midwestern feel. There are different neighborhoods within the city itself that you can visit and find something interesting and new to do. Best restaurant choices and a lot of bars and speakeasies.

The Riverwalk is a must. There are some bars and ice cream places along the river and it is great for people watching. Tiny Tapp and City Winery are great places for a date. Different tea and coffee places are great, too. Especially places that are owned by the same owners of places like Au Cheval and Bavette's.

My school life is pleasant memories. My friends can not forget when. They are no longer a good relationship. i really miss my school life. and missing my sweet all friends.

my favorite place for chicago only.

I know Chicago has some of the highest crime rates in the country, but I was fortunate enough to not encounter any for the 3 years I lived there. I went to school at Truman Community College, which speaking of crime, was kind of dangerous. There were a few times the school would be closed down because of shootings on the block or bomb threats. That said, I enjoyed my time there and was never in physical danger. If you stick to certain neighborhoods mostly and if you don't go out there looking like a target or like you're weak, you'll be just fine.

The Chicago Diner in Logan Square is the best vegetarian food I've ever had. Also, love Pick Me Up Cafe in Lakeview is a good comfort food restaurant open all night with great vegetarian food. The L&L Tavern in Lakeview is a great dive bar. The local lore is that Jeffrey Dahmer used to sit across from the place scoping out future victims. Also, John Wayne Gacy allegedly walked in there dressed in clown garb.

it was a nice city until i realized that how much crime was going on in the city it makes you wonder how people enjoy living here .

sears tower, Chicago bears soldier field stood out how they honor the vets in the military.

I was born and raised in Chicago. I do not recommend anyone to live her or visit. Ten to twenty years ago it used to be more segergated than it is today but there is still an issue of seperation. Downtown is expensive while anything past 35th street is unwelcome. The Southern, Western, some parts Northwest are all bad. There's obvious racism here because of it. It doesn't offer a lot of attractions either. There's a few landmarks downtown but nothing major. The food is alright. Nothing to write home too.

The only good things that stand out are deep dish pizza. If you never had it before you are in for a treat. It's basically deep crust pizza formed like a pie with two to three layers of cheese, toppings and sauce on top. If you had deep dish pizza before there is nothing else in Chicago worth wide. Everything is expensive. Tax here is 12% or higher depending on what you buy. The worse thing about Chicago is that it's one of the highest murder cities in the USA. It used to be the highest in the world at one point. It's not so bad around the downtown area but again past 35th is where the shootings happen. Guns are not illegal here, it's easy to get one and gangs are a constant problem.

I went to the Chicago Botanical Gardens. It was like experiencing a little bit of Heaven on Earth. It was the best compilation of beautiful plants, shrubs and trees that I have ever seen, and all in one location!

The Rose Garden Area of the Chicago Botanical Gardens with the Huge Circular Fountain in the middle of the Rose Garden was Exceptional! Never saw so many beautifulrRoses all in one place!

Chicago is a great city, don't listen to what the media says.

Navy Pier and Wrigley Field are great! Be sure to go to Lou Malnati's for deep dish pizza or Portillos for Italian Beef

Crime is no bueno, schools and children are suffering, and police are corrupt.

Downtown Chicago is nice! the lake, the shedd aquarium. SO many place to eat!

The crime is very bad. It is overall everywhere now. It needs to be addressed. Neighborhoods are good but the crime rate is ridiculous.

Favorite places are sites downtown. The music, theater, skyline, outdoor scenery, restaurant scene, concerts and shopping are very good to enjoy.

I loved visiting Chicago! The museums, shopping, culture and restaurants were so much fun. My favorite was the field museum, especially the dinosaur exhibits. The Chicago style pizza was enough to take me back someday all by itself! We were careful to take taxi cabs at night to wherever we wanted to visit, so didn't experience any crime.

The field museum was awesome. We also enjoyed the Sears tower and several different art museums. I think the food stood out the most. The pizza at Lou Malnati's is to die for. Yolk had the most amazing breakfasts. I think I gained 10 lbs over the 5 days we were there!

The crime rate in this city is high. I couldn't find anything worth while to do without traveling to the heart of the city.

The abandoned buildings on every block was an absolute turn off. The design and placement of the homes were too close and unattractive.

Met wonderful people and was taken to many fun and exciting attractions. Luckily it was great weather, I know it gets windy.

The food and drink was amazing.

I had a fun time 'vacationing' there when I had to go for a week of conferences for a job (business). I enjoyed the nightlife and running around the city with friends. The Wyhdam OHare hotel staff were very nice and the hotel was modern and clean.

The trains were easy to take and very quick. Millennium Park was modern and new. And the free concerts there were very fun. The hotel and the shuttle services were also very easy to use and the staff was very nice.

My experience living in Chicago for three months was truly horrible as the crime rate and amount violence that occurs there is just shocking. Everyday there were gang related shootings and murders and the city just ran rampant with police bribery and corruption. Also, there wasn't anything to do there as there are no scenic or natural attractions to visit, just violence.

Needless to say, the high amount of violence stood out to me the most as I now understand why it has one of the highest crime rates in America. There was nothing great about living there as the quality of life is bad.

Chicago is a very interesting city. For one thing, the weather changes constantly, keeping one guessing on what the day is going to be like. There are many places to see in Chicago. Downtown is surrounded by architectural accomplishments that are both breathtaking and eye-catching.

The Willy's building, formerly The Sears Tower, is one that definitely stands out. I believe it is the second highest building in the world. It has a view deck that has a panoramic view of Chicago.

Chicago is an awesome city with great sites, cool people, and delicious food. I have never struggled to find something fun to do in this city.

The festivals are all good, and the tourist areas aren't that bad either.

the Chicago city is amazing itself/ The downtown area is splendid, the fact that is located in one piece make it more charming and great. There is everything that you can think off or wish.

Favourite place is the beach, and the Michigan Ave - I just love to walk through it. The bad thing is the crime outside the downtown area, but this is the different story too.

I recently visited Chicago last week for a long 3 day weekend. I found the city pleasantly beautiful and impressive. The people were friendly and the food and sites were excellent. I loved the layout of the city and its proximity to Lake Michigan. The Willis and Hancock buildings and their observatories were lovely.

I especially loved the city architecture and its proximity to the Chicago River. The ambiance and sights as one cruises down the river and admires the buildings and surroundings is spell-bounding.
