I lived in Conneaut from 1965 to 1986. Was a great town back in the day until RONALD WILSON REAGAN. It went to s**t very quickly. Plants closed, docks went, railroad died and the town with it. Just after I got my family out of there is when the drugs came as the murders as well. Corrupt Police force brought in DEA, ATF and FBI. The West side explosion that killed Mrs. Riddle was horrifying. I went to school with her son. I get homesick and return there once in awhile for a day. It gets worse each time I go back. I'm very fortunate to have left there. If I would've stayed, my only option was Welfare and Food stamps. Not the life I want to live. Good luck to all in Conneaut. I do hope someday that City will be as great as it once was.
Conneaut has to be the most corrupt town I've ever lived in the officials waste taxpayer dollars on stupid stuff while forgetting to take care of our roads it's been 10 years since we've had fresh pavement there's nothing to do in this town except smoke marijuana and if that's not your cup of tea well herion and. M**h are sold right next to the high school. Most people who live here have a drinking problem unless your world has fallen into complete chaos I suggest a nicer place to visit try Florida or pa Ohio Ohio is shaped like a heart the old slogan used to be Ohio the heart of it all now it's Ohio its all right here what a f*****g joke I should have stayed in Florida at least they get nice weather and you're not hammered with cold weather for 8 months out of the year
The roads Are bad the cops are worse are old judge had 7 dui's and he's still a judge corruption corruption corruption
Born and raised and still live in Conneaut! I happen to love my small town! And I have had the same job for 18yrs in a near by town called Kingsville. We have a close community that will come together at a drop of a dime. You ppl know nothing of our town.
