For most Americans, Memorial Day weekend is time off from work. But you can make some cold hard cash working for us for a day. We will hire a military veteran to spend an entire weekend watching military-themed movies in the spirit of Memorial Day. Your friends will be RED, WHITE and BLUE with envy!
This is the perfect job for the patriotic Americans who have served our country and a way for us to give back and thank those who have bravely served our country.
We’re not just talking about taking in old war movies here. This is a roll up your sleeves and get immersed into the America’s war history like never before.
Summary Of the Job
Memorial Day is all about remembering those lost serving the U.S. Military. So we thought - why not have you get a crash course in American war history by watching our best war movies ever made? The goal is for you to learn about the history of the US military campaigns and gain a newfound appreciation of our veterans of all branches of our military.
You’ll be given links to watch 10 of our BEST War Movies on Memorial Day. The movie list includes:
- Apocalypse Now
- The Bridge on the River Kwai
- Saving Private Ryan
- Platoon
- Full Metal Jacket
- Black Hawk Down
- The Longest Day
- Patton
- 1917
- Sands of Iwo Jime
By the end of Memorial Day weekend, you’ll probably be humming “The Battle Cry of Freedom,” and “Over There,” and might just stand at attention every time you hear the Star Spangled Banner.
This should ONLY take you about 18 hours and 36 minutes, leaving you PLENTY of time to go out and celebrate Memorial Day with your friends and family. After all, you’re a military veteran, and this weekend is all about remembering your service.
With that said, why not invite them over? After all, you’re also getting:
- A large US flag to prominently fly proudly in your yard
- An “I Served” sticker for your vehicle, based on which military branch you bravely served
- A gift card for a large box of fireworks
- A pre-made meal of hot dogs, french fries, corn on the cob, potato salad, and an Apple Pie, shipped to your home, enough to feed your group
- A copy of “God Bless America: The Ultimate Patriotic Album”
The only thing YOU have to do is write a 1,000 word summary of what you learned about the US Military History after binge watching the best U.S. war movies of all time. Turn in your military-themed homework (red, white or blue fonts are the ONLY colors accepted), and we’ll pay you $1,000.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old to participate.
Only residents of the United States are eligible to participate.
Only one winner will be selected from the entire pool of eligible entries. The selection process will be at the discretion of the homesnacks.com team. The winner will be required to complete specific tasks determined by homesnacks.com. If the winner does not follow through with their required tasks, they will not receive their cash prize of $1,000.
The winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current federal and state data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
The winner will be notified by email and/or letter within 5 days of the closing date, Friday, May 22, 2020 @ 5 p.m. EST. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not confirm their participation and acceptance within 24 hours of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner.
